    • Website operation and security (logs, anti-bot/anti-spam, performance): Controller’s legitimate interest.

    • External content and social media (e.g., embedded YouTube, share buttons): consent via the cookie banner.

4. Methods and Place of Processing

Data are processed using IT and telematic tools, with appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss or disclosure. Processing takes place at the Controller’s premises and/or at hosting providers and third-party vendors indicated in this notice.

5. Retention Periods

  • Contact/enquiry data: up to 24 months from our reply or until a deletion request.
  • Technical/security logs: up to 12 months (unless needed to ascertain unlawful activity).
  • Data kept for legal/tax obligations (if applicable): up to 10 years.
  • Marketing/newsletter data (if any): until consent is withdrawn or 24 months from last interaction.

6. Recipients and Transfers outside the EEA

Data may be processed by third-party providers/tools (hosting, email, analytics and social platforms) acting as processors or independent controllers. Where data are transferred outside the European Economic Area (e.g., to the United States), the transfer is based on adequacy decisions (e.g., the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on Standard Contractual Clauses (Arts. 45–46 GDPR).

7. Data Subject Rights

Users may exercise the rights provided by Arts. 15–22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent) by writing to booking@bagnitiberio.com. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority. This site is not intended for children under 16. Any data sent by minors will be deleted as soon as the Controller becomes aware of it.
